Electric and Acoustic Guitars

Guitars are one of our most active categories. We focus on USA, Mexican, and Japanese-made instruments from brands like Fender, Gibson, Martin, Taylor, PRS, Gretsch, and Ibanez. We generally do not take entry-level imports such as Squier Strats or similar low-end builds, with the rare exception of collectible 80s-era models that hold real market value. Bring the case, cables, and any original accessories you have, as complete setups always command better offers.

Bass Guitars and Amplifiers

We take quality bass guitars from the same brand tier as our guitar list, along with amplifiers from Fender, Marshall, Mesa Boogie, Orange, and Vox. Boutique tube amps and well-maintained combo amps are particularly welcome.

Brass and Woodwind

Brass and woodwind instruments are a year-round category for us, and student-model brass especially picks up around the start of the school year. We take saxophones, trumpets, trombones, clarinets, and flutes from brands like Yamaha, Bach, Selmer, Conn, and Jupiter. Bring the case, mouthpiece, and ligature whenever possible.

DJ Equipment and Pro Audio

We selectively buy DJ gear and pro audio equipment based on what currently sells. Newer mixers, controllers, and turntables are considered, along with collectible classics like the Technics SL-1200 series. Call ahead if you are bringing in a larger setup so we can be ready to evaluate it properly.

Orchestral Strings

Orchestral strings are not a primary focus for us, but we will consider higher-end violins, violas, and cellos on a case-by-case basis. Call ahead before bringing one in so we can let you know whether it is something we can evaluate.

What We Do Not Accept

To save you a trip, here is what we generally pass on:

  • Pianos of any size, acoustic or digital
  • Drums, drum kits, and percussion (space limitations)
  • Entry-level import guitars (Squier Strats, off-brand builds) outside of collectible exceptions
  • Instruments missing essential components (no mouthpieces, broken hardware, missing power supplies on electronics)
